Broadcast from your phone and talk to whoever joins — or open someone else’s stream and take part from the audience.
Live streaming is the loudest part of Waho. A host broadcasts video from their phone; anyone browsing the live list can open the stream and join as a viewer. From there it's two-way: viewers type in the chat, react, and send virtual gifts that play as animations over the video.
The developer frames it simply on the Play listing — live streaming is there whether you want to “showcase your talent, share your life, or interact with fans”. In practice the three blend together, and most rooms are closer to a conversation with an audience than a performance.

Gifts sent by viewers play as full animations over the video and are announced in a banner.

The screenshot shows hourly ranking notices, so streams sit inside some form of leaderboard.
Status badges
VIP levels and medals appear next to names in the chat and gift banners.
Step by step
How to get started
- Install Waho from Google Play and finish creating your profile — see the registration guide if you haven’t yet.
- Open the live section of the app and browse the streams currently running. Watching a few first is the fastest way to learn the etiquette of the rooms you’d want to broadcast in.
- To broadcast, use the live or “go live” control, give your stream a title, and start. Grant camera and microphone permission when Android asks.
- Check what’s behind you before the camera turns on. Anything visible in frame is visible to everyone who opens the stream.
- While live, keep an eye on the chat — the viewer list and message feed are the parts people expect you to respond to.
- End the stream from the close control when you’re finished.
Good to know
- Streams are public. They’re listed for other users to find. Assume anyone can join.
- Gifts cost real money. The animations are in-app purchases. If you’re watching, you are never obliged to send one.
- Microphone and camera permission can be reviewed later in Settings → Apps → Waho → Permissions.
- Data use adds up. Video streaming over mobile data is the heaviest thing the app does — Wi-Fi is kinder to your allowance.
- Google Play rates Waho Mature 17+, partly because users interact freely in live spaces like this one.
