Editorial policy
The rules this site is written to. They’re short, and they’re the reason some of our pages are less confident than others.
Last updated
1. Primary sources
Facts about the Waho app come from the app's official Google Play listing and the developer's published privacy policy. Facts about Android or the Play Store come from Google's own support documentation.
We don't source app facts from other app-listing sites, aggregators or AI summaries. Those are copies of copies, and errors in them propagate.
2. Verified fact vs general advice
Two different things appear on this site and we try to keep the line visible:
| Type | How it’s presented | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Verified listing fact | Attributed to the listing, with a “last checked” date | “Google Play rates Waho Mature 17+.” |
| Developer description | Attributed to the developer’s own wording | “The developer says up to 15 people can join a voice chat.” |
| Observed in a screenshot | Described as what the screenshot shows | “The listing screenshot shows four player avatars around the Ludo board.” |
| General Android advice | Presented as advice, sourced to Google where applicable | “Clear the app cache in Settings → Apps → Waho → Storage.” |
| Not published | Stated plainly as unknown | “The developer doesn’t publish UMO’s rules, and we won’t invent them.” |
3. What we will not publish
- Fabricated people. No invented authors, credentials, experts or quotes.
- Fabricated social proof. No testimonials, no user reviews we didn’t receive, no awards or partnerships.
- Invented numbers. No download counts, user totals, version numbers or changelogs that don’t come from the listing.
- Our own rating. We don’t score the app, and we don’t publish review or aggregate-rating structured data.
- APK files or links to them. Download buttons go to Google Play. Nowhere else.
- Unsupported superlatives. Not “the best”, “number one”, or “the safest” — those aren’t claims we can support.
- Thin keyword pages. If a topic doesn’t warrant a page, it becomes a section of an existing one.
4. Dating and updating
App details carry a “last checked” date, currently September 11, 2026. Guides carry publication and update dates. When the Play listing changes materially — rating, data safety, update date, download tier — we update the affected pages and move the date.
All listing facts on this site live in a single configuration file, so a change is made once and propagates everywhere. That's deliberate: it makes staleness less likely and inconsistency between pages close to impossible.
5. Corrections
Errors get fixed rather than quietly removed. Report one to corrections@waho.online or via the contact page, and we'll check it against the primary source. If a correction changes the substance of a page, we note it on the page.
6. Independence
Waho.online is not operated by, endorsed by or affiliated with Waho team or Google. Nothing on this site is approved by the developer, and no commercial relationship affects what we publish. The current funding position is on the disclosure page.
7. Accessibility and clarity
Pages are written to be read on a phone, use semantic HTML, keep contrast high, and work with a keyboard. Instructions use the actual menu paths on stock Android, with a note where manufacturer skins differ.
